Ralph and Piggy as well as most of the littluns went to the same school, they just never met each other. Piggy could not have been the only chubby, bullied boy, so the chances of them knowing each other pre-crash is very slim.

Jack, Simon, Roger and Maurice, the choir, etc. attended a private Christian school. It was not ridiculously far from the former school mentioned, but it definitely not in walking distance.]]
